Congratulations. One space available on the bus. He'll be travelling first class.

Re: New CEO
Jobs for the boys
Re: New CEO
"Levi will formally join the Club next month, and will spend the next two weeks transitioning into the new role...."
I thought transitioning meant something else these days?

Re: New CEO
Whilst I welcome the appointment I didn’t see the gig advertised widely. From a governance perspective roles like this and for that matter the managers position should be advertised. (Apologies if I’ve missed the job ads).
Re: New CEO
Bet he's gutted Vaughan still isn't around
Re: New CEO
Regarding the manager, didn't PH say that they wanted a quick appointment and if they went out to the open market they would be required by the EFL to comply with all sorts of procedures: equal opps, diversity of candidates, etc, no doubt lots of paperwork and the Chairman's inside leg measurement, and it would take much longer.
You might say it is a bit 'old boys network', but in the circumstances it was the most practical method.

Re: New CEO
Indeed. Levi is a good guy and will do a good job, but this seems to be another in a long list of unadvertised "jobs for the boys".

Re: New CEO
I thought I saw the job on a card in Duttons window
But it might have been an advert for a used cello

How does it make you feel to know that you voted for this?

Re: New CEO
Let’s hope that the new CEO keeps his lips tight when it comes to new contracts, new signings and players leaving, instead of telling the chosen few who then love to announce it on social media prior to the official announcements.
Re: New CEO
Possibly one of the most important jobs that needed to be filled.
Needed someone with Football League or National League experience in the role.
Instead we go for a cheap option, this could come back and bite us big style.

Is there a pen-pic or biog? Not everyone is in the inner sanctum.

Re: New CEO
Seriously why do some people have to be negative and disrespectful to others. Our chairman has made it very clear that they have been impressed by the work Levi Gill has been doing behind the scenes at Barrow AFC - instead of mouthing off get behind the whole club or go and support AFC Fylde!
