Half Time 1-0
Good chance for Penfold I think just before the whistle

Blackpool dominating possession and deserve to be in front. Quigley a handful and we will miss him for his suspension. I think Penfold needs to go out on loan lower down the pyramid. Good save from Dixon to prevent further damage and they also missed a good chance.
A Hardcastle free kick was pushed away and it will be all change for the second half.

Think the 19 was Ashley Smith Brown

Think they turn it off at half time
Heaven is a place on earth, we prefer to call it Holker Street
popular side since 2002!
Re: Blackpool v Barrow (friendly)
Thought Penfold think 19 bit slow, did not realise how young he was but a bit light wait will get pushed all over in this league one for the future.
Need proven forward for Quigley suspension and I would like to see a dominant midfielder join.

Good half. Nice to see still playing a passing game. The 2 Jones' and Beadling look decent players. Not over impressed with the 2 trialists. Penfold miles away from being good enough. Far too slow. Hardcastle absolutely outstanding and gets better all the time.
Re: Blackpool v Barrow (friendly)
Younger was decent at the back, and Brough looks like he'll make the step up comfortably.
Not sure about Hindle playing almost right wing-back, and Penfold has some good touches but still not strong enough.
All change for the second-half.

Not too bad first half considering who played. Not sure how close that is to Blackpool’s 1st choice XI.

Re: Blackpool v Barrow (friendly)
Not terrible, bit deep, Hardcastle our best player IMHO.
Say it every year, but I remember we pumped Morecambe pre season and Goodfellow played like Mark Overmars, then stole a wage when it mattered.
Pre Season results mean nowt
