The post I replied to said that the club could make some money by opening the bar.
The number of people allowed in and the amount they spend will be cancelled out by the cost of the bar staff, but let's wait and see

Someone has said that why would we hire the rugby when you have the new fanzone and bar etc. If i'm not mistaken, the fanzone is great but it doesn't appear to be the biggest, so with Covid restrictions, the capacity wouldn't be that big. The same would go for the cross bar.

If you could get the rugby pitch even for free, sell tickets, split the costs and the profits with the rugby, then everyones happy, you would get more people there, and you could even still use the cross bar and that for people if they wanted, its all about trying to maximise revenue.

I should probably add, that I am not having a dig at anyone by shooting down their suggestions, everyone is entitled to their opinion and opinions are what gets the best ideas when there's plenty of them. I just don't think the club could maximise their revenue by just using the crossbar and fan zone.

Very good idea, but the game will be midweek won't it? Would be booming on a Saturday but not necessarily on a Tuesday night.

is it on or before the 31st or before the 31st? - as bank holiday Monday the 31st would be a good day for a televised match if the game is brought forward
