i just cannot see where the goal threat is. Created nothing this half. Really missing key players, but that is not an excuse. We've been second best this half.

Gotta say the ref has been poor here, shirt pulled down in the box and all barrow players appeal..... nothing given. Newport fall over, free kick.

Been obvious when playing friendlys need decent midfield player and back up for Quigley.
Quigley is going to be knackered chasing for the ball,if he is injured, suspended or off form we have little threat upfront.
Must have spent our budget.

Added time 8 minutes. Could be 80 and we wouldn't score.

So bad.

We play long ball over the top for 3 strikers who haven't won a single header all game.

I've absolutely no idea what they have been working on all week. This is absolutely shocking. They are getting frustrated but only themselves to blame.

What do you want the lad to do when the ball is booted over the midfield, there is no movement upfront and everytime we get the ball in the final third we pass backwards.

I agree he hasn't done anything but what the hell can a playmaker do when we just bypass midfield and then pass backwards.

I'll hold judgement until we have our better players back from injury, however as said previously, Dunn inspires no confidence whatsoever, its only 2 games in tho so time to improve

Quite shocking. So many players who don't look up to the standard. My point earlier about the Hird howler was that it shouldn't distract us from the fact that after being on top first half we gave the initiative straight to Newport at the kick off and played 3 minutes of rubbish before the goal.
Big worry is that last season we were first to everything and this year we always seem to be beaten to the ball. We try to play the close passing game but we never have the space or the quickness of thought to make it work.
