Reasonable conditions for a team with little aerial threat that likes to keep the ball on the deck. A Paul Cox team would struggle to keep the ball out of it's own net today. Home win.

Just had a look at Bradford few jokes we have not won a home league game in nearly 50 years.
One of the supporters has put a few pages of our programme from last time we played them in 1969.

In our notes Bobby Noble just signed from Newcastle and it mentioned Alfreton where it took s trip to their ground ,our ground, Chesterfield and I think PNE before we beat them in FA cup went to Alfreton.

Also in the programme notes, Chatter Box estimates the combined revenue from both Preston and the first 2 Alfreton games (League Cup and FA Cup Round 1) was £1400. Conversely the Welfare Fund were about to hand over a cheque for £2000. Remember we were a League 1 (Div 3) side at the time.

And we think we have it bad these days.
