Get in Platty!!! That was excruciating. Didn't think it was ever going to go in. Absolutely battered them today and a draw was the very least we deserved. Never looked like scoring until we gifted them one. How many times can we hit the woodwork this season???
Great effort right until the end from the lads. On another day and with a bit more luck we win that 3-1
We hate Carlisle United, we hate Workington too (and Morecambe), we hate Accrington Stanley but Barrow we love you :scarf:

I wasn’t even nervous at the end....I’d just resigned myself to it being “our luck”
Going forward, we just can’t carry on giving away daft goals.

What a great result though, thoroughly deserved and a great confidence boost for the lads.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Sure Joel will be gutted from conceding especially under the circumstances, but superb save to keep us in the game and gave us the chance for the point :scarf:

Brilliant result.

Cambridge United- the team that have already put 5 past Morecambe and 3 past Carlisle.
Big piece in Mirror this morning about Cambridge striker Paul Mullin who is, with 13 goals this season the joint highest goalscorer in any league in Europe!

Well done lads!

Yes, there was a pre-match report about him on Sky Sports News around 2.30pm too.

Another great performance from Jason Taylor too. Getting a foot in, chasing back, holding it up in the middle and even a foray into the strikers position at one point. He's the footballing equivalent of an angry wasp. Just pesters the life out of anyone and you can't swat him off. So good they had a one lad come dressed as him with the mask

OMG something actually went our way in injury time 😳 😲. Take away the mistake and the fact we scored 4 at Mansfield, who were crap. That was the best performance so far this season. Fair play to the Cambridge commentary team who were the fairest away one I have heard this season, said throughout the game we were the best team they had seen them play so far and that the goal was the least we deserved. Well done lads.

Good long interview with Dunn on RC. Worth listening on catch up.
