Pedro is a troll, don't feed him please, most likely a Workington fan in disguise.

Silly mistake

Utterly dominant (should have won) and a team to be proud of.

Not too bad at all this, a far cry from Vauxhall Motors. Wish I was on the bus now celebrating a brave and hugely deserved point.

Just looking at the table .. Pretty crazy that in the current top 14, only 2 teams won today. And in positions 15 - 24 there were 6 winners ..

The league got tighter today. Any team on a 3-4 game winning run could easily find themselves well in amongst it and I think we are capable of that. We proved today that we shouldn't fear anyone in this league

Its a forum. People entitled to opinions. You call them idiots but they may think the same of you.

Great performance today, Dunn set them up for a win and we should have had it. Mid table no problem

Just watched the highlights. Thought they encapsulated our season perfectly. Played well but missing chances and prone to crazy mistakes for ridiculous goals. If we can keep playing as well as we are, but just sharpen up in both boxes, we will not only be well clear of relegation, but pushing for the promotion play-offs.

It's not the competing we need to be beating them

I once saw both Altrincham and Watford play at Holker street we more than competed .Half time in both games 0-0 we ended getting beat 4-0 in each game.
Everyone keeps saying we have nothing to fear in this league 2 wins out of 12 speaks volumes

Hird seems to be struggling in this league ,oh did anyone mention we need a midfield player to feed Quigs or James.
I would rather address this now do not want a end of Season like we did with Ady Pennock
One of the strangest posts I’ve read on here. If you’re this jarringly negative when we’re very competitive in League Two I’d hate to have been around to see your posts when we were in the National League North a little over five years ago.

What a ridiculous post... to be doing what we are after the disruptions etc etc is nothing short of amazing.
Hardcastle will be back shortly, and would be surprised if we don't try and add some more in January. Hird has been solid last few weeks, and did ok today bar the back pass. Ok he might get done for pace occasionally but that could be said of the Taylor boys as well.
You need a reality check on what we have actually achieved so far this season.
The last few weeks the performances have improved massively, and will only get better as the season develops.
It's a opinion.I heard after Blackpool and Derby games we will meet nothing of this quality .
Well facts do not lie, 2 wins out 12.
Pre season against the might of United of Old Trafford we let them back into the game,as we have done with Bolton etc.
Looked at the goal and the suicide pass Hird put back to Dixion was ridiculous .The guy is not a novice he would have been better putting it into touch.
The midfield position has been obvious since pre season.
It's just a view.

Quite. The Watford game referred to was in 1959, and the Altrincham game 1980.

Agree Ian. Needs treatment. I once saw us lose to the Barrow Select 11, I once saw us losing to Stevenage in the Trophy Final...... but who won. I once saw Barrow being 3-0 down at half time to Ashton way back in the day's of the Unidump league and won 3 _ 4 . I threw a tray of chips in the air when we scored the fourth ! You could go on forever trying to prove...... nothing. We have been fantastic mostly, playing really good football. DD could have been defensive today, but he really went for it. Read the Cambridge press.
Facts do not lie you can have 98% of the play but if you keep getting beat that means nothing ,its the end product 2 wins out of 12 that's worse than Norman. Bodell or Don Mcevoy before we went out of the league
We continually make similar mistakes and they are not addressed, but there is a guy across the Atlantic that says a defeat actually equates to a win.

That was an excellent performance from an ever improving Barrow. I don’t think you will see a better footballing team at this level, Hird made a mistake,it happens,he’s been excellent of late alongside platt. Special mention has to go to Mike Jones, that lad must be the most talented footballer in this league, fantastic ability on the ball. Finally Pedro,[SwearFilter] off.

I listened to match commentary, which was excellent, but have just watched the extended highlights and there's only one of those two teams I'd want to watch. Cambridge barely got a look in, all the skill and football came from us. We may have only 2 wins but more will come and I'd rather watch us play any day. We have improved immensely as games go by and the manager knows where we can still improve so to say things are not being addressed is just plain wrong.
Don't let the old man in.
