Re: Barrow v Oldham match thread
Massive game this so we should be going with the best team irrespective of the cup game(s) following later this week. Therefore Brown should definitely not be playing ahead of Kay.
I don't mind Zouma coming in for Hird.
Ntlhe injured again I guess?

I would prefer kay over brown but rest of team looks good. Probably teaching Kay a lesson of stop getting booked ! Plus he'll be good to bring on later in the match. Won't be an easy game so im going for a 1-0 win but hatd fought !

You mean Brown who came off the bench and set up James for the equaliser on Saturday? That Brown?Il Metronomo wrote: ↑Tue Nov 24, 2020 6:11 pm Massive game this so we should be going with the best team irrespective of the cup game(s) following later this week. I agree he's not the same as Kay but the amount of stick Brown gets is OTT
Re: Barrow v Oldham match thread
I thought Brown did very well in his attacking play last Saturday - laid on James's goal and got behind their defenders more than once. Probably better defensively than Kay, though they are both a bit prone to rash tackles.Il Metronomo wrote: ↑Tue Nov 24, 2020 6:11 pm Massive game this so we should be going with the best team irrespective of the cup game(s) following later this week. I’m one of Connor Browns biggest critics but he deserves his start tonight; albeit helped by Coopers shocking tactical change on Saturday but he was very good when he came on

It's not stick... just a comment that we should play our best team for this game and Kay should be in our best team.JammyBluebird wrote: ↑Tue Nov 24, 2020 6:17 pmYou mean Brown who came off the bench and set up James for the equaliser on Saturday? That Brown?

I would have played Brown on Thursday without question.

I would play Brown at LWB and move Kay into midfield for Biggins. I think that is our strongest side at the moment.Il Metronomo wrote: ↑Tue Nov 24, 2020 6:32 pmIt's not stick... just a comment that we should play our best team for this game and Kay should be in our best team.JammyBluebird wrote: ↑Tue Nov 24, 2020 6:17 pmYou mean Brown who came off the bench and set up James for the equaliser on Saturday? Was hoping to get some team news on the radio but was stuck listening to them asking after a Carlisle fan's baby.
Popular side since '03.

Another game in a couple of days remember. They'll all get a run out at some point. Horses for courses. Wimbledons game at Gillingham kicked off at 6pm this evening. Presumably to allow them to have bath before coming up to us.bigmac95 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 24, 2020 6:34 pmI would play Brown at LWB and move Kay into midfield for Biggins. No idea why we insist on playing these risky short passes across the back. Just asking for trouble. Two or three times already lost possession

What’s Zouma doing? Looks like an accident waiting to happen!
