Barrow v Salford match thread
Re: Barrow v Salford match thread
Same shit different game....should have, could have, nothing is being answered and we couldn't score into an open goal, thoroughly deflated.

Another pen waved away. Honestly......
We're our own worst enemy at times, but this referee hasn't exactly been stellar today.

Mansfield look like they've claimed a late point thanks to Andy Cook

Ref’s not been good but not sure why Quigley went to ground, he could’ve got a shot away

Even without the two penalty shouts, we could've had 3 or four here if we could finish chances. The ref hasn't cost us, we've done that, but when you're struggling it doesn't help.

Third of the season done now big decisions to make, wont get back in the league again if we go down.

Frustrating. We keep losing by the odd goal. Reid should have buried his chance, shot straight at their keeper.

Anybody who still thinks that D. Dunn is the man to get us out of the mess He has got us in to needs to see a head doctor.

Frustrating is the word. It's almost worse to be creating chances and losing by the odd goal than if we were just being played off the park. We just can't finish at the minute. 17 shots. At least one out of 17 has to go in. 4 on target, sadly, tells a story.

Re: Barrow v Salford match thread
Quigley was so composed last season now he doesn't look like the natural goal scorer he was. I think he's actually improved in many ways but he just needs a run of a few goals and he'll be firing
I think we are good enough to stay in this league

Re: Barrow v Salford match thread
I think we looked better defensively. Deserved a point. If we weren't in such a desperate position in the league you would write that off as just one of those 'wasn't our day' games. Yes, we missed chances but also we didn't get any breaks in the box. I'm sure it was a penalty right at the end when Quigley was pushed over. It would have been given for any other player but the ref had decided Quigley was a chancer.
I would certainly persevere with that formation. Not giving up hope yet!

Pathetic.
Like watching an u12s team play.
Does he actually send them out with any kind of plan.
Can quigley pass a ball?

Feel sorry for the old people that have waited 48 years to watch that.
