He is because he's getting more money, has scored 10 goals from midfield already and is playing in a winning team which by all accounts has a lot to do with his performances. Losing him is the main reason we are a shadow of the team from last season.

One bizarre thing today was the note passed from the touchline to one of our players--don't know who it was--who then kept reading it a few times whilst the game was going on. What was that all about? I thought at first it was a mobile phone. Not seen that happen before.

I saw that too Elaine, I’ve never seen that before. Luke James was given the note off DD, he read it and the next player I saw reading a note was Conner Brown so I guess it was the same piece of paper.

Maybe it was a first draft of his resignation and wanted the grammar correcting?

It's certainly something that happens quite often in Premier matches with managers giving instructions on paper to players coming on as subs or who are near the dugout when play is stopped and they sometimes get passed on to one or more other players.

This set of players have no identity . This comes from management. A collection of players have been assembled that are neither 6ft man mountains that look like quite a lot of the opposition. Or a set of free flowing footballers we had in the main last se ason. Luck as they say even itself out, the number of times I've heard that this season means the next 15 games are going to see a massive upturn in fortunes . I'm afraid not . Some managers are unlucky, look at Mickey Moore ! I'm afraid this guy is the same. We will only get one bite of the cherry in this league and the Board will have to act soon . The table doesn't lie now it tells you how good you are after this number of games.
Not many teams rescue them selves from this position without a change of personnel either on or off the pitch
