Hopefully they have a few names in mind as we don’t want to spend a month appointing one. New manager needs every chance including a dabble in the transfer market in the new year

Agree. And though plenty on this forum have been calling for it for weeks, I think it happened at the right time. We were all desperate for it to turn the right way and they gave Dunn every opportunity. Hopefully the board have acted quick enough to give time for a response from the team, but long enough that we can stave off any accusations of being an impatient, sacking club

Well I think it had to happen with the the way things were going. Shame, seemed a nice bloke and I wish him all the best for the future, but football is about results and he wasn't getting them.
Hopefully the board have some names in mind and names with a decent record.
Always sad when things don't work out, but hopefully this is the beginning of something.

Surprised kelly hasn’t gone as well and the statement says he will take temporary charge whilst we find a successor?

With the impressive way the board has done things I would have thought that a successor would have signed a contract today and be on the touchline Tuesday.

Hope it’s not going to be a case of see how Kelly gets on.
