So now DD has gone and i was worried we'd lose tomorrow the way we are playing but now i genuinely think the team will play with more tempo and possibly a few changes (there were comments that Kelly didn't agree with team selections at times) so im hoping we see a different Barrow tomorrow and more importantly 3 points !

He was playing for Stocksbridge Park Steels. You only need look at the "goalkeeping" for that one from the halfway line to see what sort of standard it was.

We haven`t got the midfield to play 3 at the back, to do this you have to have a high press plus to also be effective the other team have to leave 3 forwards upif they don`t that`s where our problems are because most of the goals we concede is because the 3 central defenders leave it for each other, to compound this Jones plays too deep, we then end up getting over run in midfield, it was brilliant last season because we were spoilt with having white, rooney and hardcastle with Jason interchanging with them plenty of energy goals until we get better players i would ditch this system it`s just not working.

I don’t disagree as such, I would prefer us to play a back 4 but then when we do have a back 4 we don’t have any wingers so we end up just shoving someone like Luke James out there

I'd go for that also although I wouldn't care who from Angus, James, Reid or Sea played alongside Quigley. Still the problem of 2 old, slow midfielders in the central 3 though but even with that limitation they are the best we have.

This is the team I would play if I hated our defenders and wanted to see them suffer.

As people have been saying constantly a back 5 does not work with the midfielders we have. The 3 older midfielders are all varying degrees of defensive so can play deeper with a back 4 and they can supplement the back line, if absolutely needed.

I would play 4-3-3

Hopefully Hardcastle will be available soon so can sit behind Quigs, maybe a more free to roam philosophy and then 2 out of Kay, Angus, James & Reid out wide.

Another vote for 4 at the back here. As I and others have said. The 5 at the back doesn't really work with our current midfield.

4-3-3, 4-5-1, 4-4-2. As long it works and starts getting us points I don't really care. Whatever works best with the players we have available. Preferably not the awful long ball game, but I'll take it if it keeps us up.
