Chris Taylor can be left in Colchester. After this season, I really do hope we do not see him in a Barrow shirt ever again.


Since Kelly has taken over for the second time Chris Taylor didn't play in the Bolton or Harrogate games that we lost, he came back into the side and won the next three against Mansfield, Walsall and Cheltenham, came off the bench at 2-2 with Crawley and we won that one, started again against grimsby and stevenage which we lost, didn't play against Newport and came on today when we were really out of sorts in the midfield and we got an equaliser and it looked like we could go on and win. The teams stats at the end of the season when he has played are unquestionable, he obviously has some impact on the game and the team

Platt, Davies, Thomas would be a fantastic back 3. Bobby Thomas has really improved for playing regular “proper” football

A good point all things considered. First half we were pathetic.don’t think I’ve ever seen a team give the ball away so much,in fact Ntlhe passed the ball directly out of play on three occasions. Anyway subs paved the way and we dominated last 30 and probably deserved a draw.

It's all good when you want to break down the stats to support your argument. Just to note, he did come off the bench against Harrogate, he was subbed prior to the goals at home to Mansfield, he's made more goal contributions under Dunn than Kelly, it certainly wasn't him coming on which influenced the result today. I could go on.

I stand by my comment and I look forward to this summer's recruitment of a new Centre Midfielder.

A game that seemed to swallow time itself.

That was as bad as we’ve seen all season and it shows why we are where we are. The players played out of their skins the last 45 minutes they were out and then reverted to that in the first half today. Never mind from game to game, it’s half to half with us - no consistency at all.
I’m over the moon with a totally undeserved point (a perfectly good goal disallowed and one they somehow managed to bollox up and miss on the goal line). We keep getting gifted lifelines, let’s not mess it up.
