If anyone had said after the Morecambe game that we'd be on 46 points with 6 games left, they would have been laughed out of town. We looked as good as finished after that match. The turnaround under Rob Kelly has been nothing short of miraculous.

Agree. Think that was the low point of the season. I thought, at best, it was 50/50 at that point and even when Jolly left it felt like a roll of the dice. What a roll it turned out to be

Dunn and Jolly were big mistakes by the club. but sacking Jolly took guts and left the club open to criticism. However, it was a truly monumentally good decision as events have shown.

I think there were 19 games left when Rob took over, so it's 23 points from 13 having only had 23 from the previous 27.

Include the three games he was in charge between Dunn and Jolley and he has 29 points from 16 games.

Agree. Big call's are needed in business and the board are honest enough to hold their hands up. We really need a good advisor in if Kelly doesn't take the job. Seems like this is where our board are maybe a bit inexperienced but this will more than be trial by fire. Lessons learned

Tom Davies was excellent again tonight he showed his experience and brings a calmness to the defence. He breaks up the long ball game winning 90% of his headers and challenges. Great to have him back.

Yep, massive credit to the board. Would have been very very easy to say we’ll give Jolley another 3/4 games to see if he can turn it around by which time we’d have been in real trouble. Paul Hornby said the board would do everything they could to keep us up and to stick with them; they’ve been true to their word

The Exeter City forum is in meltdown tonight.... they can’t understand how they beat Cambridge so well but lost to “little” Barrow on what they see as a ploughed field! I am more than happy for teams to underestimate us, it works for us. Our pitch doesn’t look great, but Colchester’s looked good and was bobbly as hell. And any criticisms of the ground, then they should realise how lucky they have been over the 48 years we have been out of the league, with all the money that brings. It has really struck me on iFollow just how much investment some grounds have had while we have struggled in non-league. Well done everyone!

Let’s not forget, our last league game before this season , a 7-1 loss to ..... Exeter. Sweet that this is probably the win that keeps us up .

Well that was a fantastic performance. We aren't the best passing team, we do have moments of real quality though, but by God RK has got us working like dogs!!
I said a few weeks ago that I hope Chris Taylor never pulls a Barrow shirt on again but I take that back. He's not spectacular but seems to be in the right place and keeps it simple and has upped his work rate massively.
Quiggley, in the last 2 games has been an absolute beast and just bullies defences into submission, I hope he continues till the end of the season, and if he does, will not be surprised if clubs come sniffing.
From nearly giving up watching them a couple of months back, this squad and staff have rekindled my love for our club.
