Having looked it up, Brough signed a two year deal last year (so he's here until 2022), Burns signed on a two-year deal (until 2022), and it was never clear what Banks' deal was, but you'd expect it to be more than 6 months, as that's what he had left at Tranmere.

Again, it’s just a question of who is contracted for next season… that’s it. The players will know this so should probably not be a distraction from their task of playing football.

Banks and Devitt signed 18month deals when they signed so both contracted till end of next season
As for rest no idea club never disclosed contracts on a lot of the signings

That’s what I’ve been thinking myself. Wouldn’t be massively against it BUT it goes directly against what the board said after Jolley went. Neil McDonald and Rob Kelly management team with Sam Hird coaching?

Yep, that’s what I was thinking. He could turn out to be a proper gem but he’s been in a caretaker assistant manager role for two months, it’d be a huge gamble after what has happened and if it went wrong the owners would get slaughtered.
I suppose in an ideal world RK would keep the same set-up with a view to SH eventually moving up into the managers role....if all went well.

When Evatt was appointed there were a number on the Chesterfield forum who thought SH was more managerial material than him.I know it is not a pre-requisite but he certainly comes over a lot better in interviews than Dunn or Jolley ever did.

I just hope that whoever is manager next year reverts to the Evatt style of playing proper football and we don't have to endure the boot it up the field and hope for a mistake rubbish that has been on offer for most of this season. To be perfectly honest, it's been painful to watch for most of the matches.
