Ridiculous idea imo, for the young and the elderly. As for the Barrow Eats idea - carnage.
everyone is entitled to their opinion, deal with it

I get it (and please don't patronise 'the elderly'), but a minimum £50 to load a child's FairFX card?!!!
Don't let the old man in.

So now you can apparently catch coronovirus by handling money?

I wasn’t patronising the elderly in any way, in my job I deal with a lot of older people who stress they can’t use ticket machines as they don’t use bank cards and prefer to pay cash, that’s all

can understand the ticket side of it but all you have to do is tap your card on a machine to pay for something!,
we have a SLO WHERE was the consultation with the fans ? ffs that's his job!
Now we're told to contact him after the horse has bolted really poor from him !

How does this benefit any fan? If you have been to Barrow Rugby and tried to use the Barrow Eats app for drinks you’ll see what absolute carnage it is and end up waiting an hour for a drink.

Uploading £50 for a kid? What planet are they on?

Old folk who don’t have an app and draw out a specific amount of money to spend? Then have to fight their way through a crowd to get their tea at half time?

By all means, if you need to make tickets cashless to help the flow of fans then do so. But I can see many bringing their own food as drink and/or using local pubs rather than the new fan zone.

My feeling is that when you start giving people full time jobs, people get busy and look for ‘innovative’ ideas to justify their role/worth. Often they forget about what is best for the majority of fans.

I don't think this is a good step at all. The negatives far outweigh the positives.
Popular side since '03.

That's why there should have been some consultation Matty!
