Fair enough. I was only going on a Forest fans twitter account that said it was Forest U23 v Barrow.
Whatever team they played certainly wouldn't have me worrying one way or other if we won or lost because the results of pre-season friendlies are almost meaninless as an indication of what will happen when the season starts.

I think they probably should have been worried long before that match after the number of players they have lost from last season's team. For the same reason, I would expect Carlisle and, particularly, Morecambe fans to be very worried also!

Sounds like Sea is having a class pre season. The way he’s going, can you not be playing him in a couple of weeks time if he carries on like this? He’s got to be pushing for a starting place. Surely?

A friend of mine who lives in Wigton says Carlisel have made a couple of decent signings !. Why would they be worried.

I like Sea, but he looks a long way from being a regular starter. Two of those three goals came against a knackered Holker side (one of which hit him and went in...).

Can see him being a useful impact sub, but we'll need someone else up top.

Carlisle should be fine. They held on to many of their decent players in the end from last season including Callum Guy and have signed Zach Clough and a decent replacement keeper for Farman. Their problems will come up front following the departure of Zanzala and Bennett. They are likely to be a solidish middle of the table team as things stand though. Chris Beech doesn't seem to be universally liked up there but he strikes me as being pretty competent. As ever its their off the field administration issues that carry risks that will worry most of their fans.

Feel a little sorry for both Sutton and Hartlepool both of whom are not blessed with huge resources and because of the late season end have had limited time to recruit. They may find the coming season very tough. Though both have good managers.

You know, I genuinely didn't have any value in Sea, but I'm happy to stand corrected... He's got a fair way to go until he's anywhere near the polished article, but at 19, I'm confident he'll develop in this squad and secure us a few points this year!

Sea shows a lot of promise. He could if he was to score a goal in our 1st few games go on a scoring run - but i'd not put too much pressure on him that young. IF we could bulk him up a bit in the gym he'll only get more of a handful for defenders too.
