Training Facilities ? Physio

My mistake. When I checked the club's website it tells us they started training on July 1st and shows an image of the players doing so.

You ask why I think 'he cancelled' the Spennymoor fixture. Like you, I don't know but tend to accept things at face value, the reason given being (unspecified) injuries. Others wonder if it was because we weren't in a position to provide physio cover

Your deflection from the subject yesterday was to make a personal comment, a tactic often used when people are unable to substantiate a statement (yours was "I bet he was unhappy to play Holker", etc.). Perhaps you could look back through my last 10, 20, 50 posts on here and see how well they back up your comments about my activity on the forum?

If your final comment last night (Some people...") was aimed at me again, it does seem as if you have little further to offer in substantiating your argument.

Its absolutely clear as day that Cooper did nt know about whats going on with the training facilities. Too still not have anything sorted and the season has started is pretty poor. Wont help recruitment either.

"Minutes under their belts" - a phrase consistently used by our manager and players in interviews on the club website to refer to time playing in matches.

Using standard in English to intimidate? Really??

I am assuming that you may be behind this Adam, so well done to you or whoever arranged it.

As a Chairman, Paul Hornby has impressed by so much, not least his willingness to take part in interviews on a regular basis and answer points such as these. BBCRC must be wishing that they had access in a similar way at some other clubs.

Are the facilities at witton any good? I remember going there in the cup and there wasn’t much to it other than the ground, google maps just shows the stadium doesn’t seem to be any 4g pitches or anything for that matter.

Nobody has ever explained why we left the Egerton training ground. Particularly moving to Witton Albion while waiting for our new facilities in bury to be completed.

Iirc it was mentioned on the virtual forum the club held and it was felt Egerton was to far out and having a training facility in the Greater Manchester area was a better location.Witton only came into the equation when it became apparent the new facilities would not be ready.

Paul Hornby on BBC RC: most of the stories about the training facilities were a load of baloney. Mark Hetherington back at club in a quasi-director of football and has sorted it out. Total Fitness at Wilmslow for all fitness facilities - gym, pools, treatment rooms, room for physio and analysts. Pitches 2 miles down road at Mottram Hall. I think that's how it is - I'm typing as I'm listening. Cooper is absolutely delighted.
Physio appointed and joining soon but, nevertheless, Dave Fevre and an ex-Man U guy, Mark Leather, have been with us - if that's 'amateurish', says Hornby, heaven help some other clubs.

Imho the club, Paul Hornby & the Other directors should get interviewed more often, PH speaks very well & as often is the case the poop stirring wonkers Are so wrong it’s unreal, But some people seem to lap it up & help spread these troublesome rumours which cause grief, Nip these in the bud by stating the facts & everyone will be happier
