I know I`m turning into a grumpy old git, as a bloke of my age is allowed to, but do we have to be subjected to that bl**dy music before kick off and at half time! Surely supporters just want to have a chat at half time, which is practically impossible with that racket blaring out! Hell, was it loud today! Rant over.

I agree. I spoke to Darren before the start of the season about it blasting out as people like to have a conversation before the start and during half time.
I love the music but it is spoilt by the sheer volume.
When the teams came out for the start of the Villa game it drowned out the shouts of the crowd.
Everything in moderation.

You play music to create an atmosphere, definitely too loud at half time. Keep it on but at a lower volume pease. Enjoyed the announcer, much better than “you are the 12th man let’s make some noise for the bluebird” shite

It was the same in the main stand before the match and HT. The announcer whoever he is, is probably not used to the system.

Music before a sporting event is the norm and it can build up the atmosphere before ko although if too loud it could be annoying

Local hospital radio celebrity Tom Brownlee was on the mic.
Regular tannoy man D Herbert is a rugby director so guess he was with the 800 at craven Park celebrating beating a pub team from London.

Take the point about the volume but to be fair Tom wouldn’t be familiar with the system. Good clear announcements and didn’t seem to labour the sponsors in the same way as Darren who goes through a list of them all about three times. I know they should be acknowledged but not so many times surely! Reading a long list is useless as it all goes over your head so the sponsors aren’t really getting anything from it.
