Agree 100%, if he doesn’t like it then pack your bags and [SwearFilter] off cooper. What I want is a manager who realises he’s not premiership, he’s league 2 , and gets on with it. Nige and other clowns on here are absolutely embarrassing.

[SwearFilter] hell lads, I'll bang Cooper a text and ask the lads to train in my garden then, provided Perth Bluebird carries out a pitch inspection first. Stop living in the 70s and thinking everything runs on Iron Ore and Shipbuilder's tea. We are a professional outfit and like it or not we should be training to suit.

Away match eve of southern match day training on grass?

Mottram Hall once per week initially?

Future plan?

Were all seven injuries really a consequence of not training on grass? Sure we have had similar injuries to at least some when we were training on grass.

Cue Mr Angry...
So let's get this right, YOU don't believe what Ian Evatt said about training on 4g ,now you don't believe Our Manager Mark Cooper !
You are unbelievable, why would an ex Premier league player brilliant Manager and a proven manager like Mark Cooper make it up ,,?
Just for once take off your ",blue tinted" glasses and except Hornby and Co got it wrong !
Just because myself and others criticise the club for this cockup doesn't mean we don't support the club anymore or any less than you or anybody else ,it just so annoying this could lead to Mark Cooper eventually leaving which is something the fans ,board and players would not want !

I’m afraid it’s all getting a bit embarrassing. As I’ve said previously on another post and got laid into for it the club needs to take a couple of big steps - no leaps - forward. MC has come from a professionally run outfit at FGR and he is the type of manager a club like ours wants and needs but for gods sake give him the tools to do the job! Ok so it’s a given that BAFC now train in the Manchester area. Having access to actual training pitches surely must be the minimum requirement. MC isn’t being unreasonable here. Ok so we have an artificial pitch to use but a) it’s not grass and behaves differently etc and b) they are well know not lead to more injuries if used all the time. If the club don’t sort this soon I really do fear that Cooper may go and despite the smart ars e comments on here he would be a big loss.
Come on BOD these are basics in a professionally run football league club. Sort it out.

It's beyond embarrassing now to be fair, just listened to Cooper's radio interview and it makes grim listening.

If the much lauded Mottram Hall solution really is only one day a week then that is even more embarrassing. How it's got this far without being sorted I have no idea, it really shouldn't be that [SwearFilter] hard!

Agree with this 100%. In 6-7 weeks time a club who has had a bad start to a season might well be looking for a new manager. Given that MC is not getting what he needs and contrary to what Paul Hornby has said the training set up is still a shambles the club are vulnerable to an approach for Coopers services. Its a mess and I just hope the club get it sorted ASAP not just in the short term but for the long term too. Perhaps AJ can invite Paul Hornby onto Radio Cumbria before next Fridays home game to explain "exactly" what is going on and why MC appears io be being continuously let down regarding training facilities

It's embarrassing and absolutely beyond amateur. There are no excuses for the position we find ourselves in. We're supposed to be a professional footbal league club, this whole sorry saga still dragging on is nothing less than sheer incompetence. Cut the flannel and sort it out.

Mark Cooper has made it abundantly clear for over a month that we've not been moving at an acceptable pace on this. Therefore for us still not to have had a pitch to train on this week and then only having secured 1 day a week thereafter, Iets have less of the rhetoric and more focus on a practical solution.

Listening back to hornbys interview it would appear he either wasn't abreast of the full facts or something has gone downhill quickly, whatever, it needs to be put to bed once and for all and quickly!

“It’s just Cooper being miserable and moaning” though don’t forget…….

Perhaps it will be sorted by the 1st October rather than the 1st September

Seems honest interview by manager.Obviously for some reason harder to acquire facilities to train than most of us realised.Think that Either chairman or someone from board should have an Adam interview to explain what causing the delay. Is it cost, high demand or location causing this problem.Agree does not make us look very professional and needs speedy resolution. The longer the delay the more the criticism by fans not given the facts and more chance of injuries poor performances and unhappy manager and fans.We seem to all be behind manager want him to stay give him the chance to show full potential.

You made the statements not me !
Paul Hornby gave the answers!
If you're as clever as you think you are ,then you must realise, all myself and others on here want our players to have the best preparation/ training for matches without this you'll continue to get disruption to our squad, which in effect impacts on performance/results and then the manager has to speak out and don't forget if results don't go right the crowd's will reduce which subsequently impacts on budgets etc!
Is this answer OK? or do I get another nondescript reply ?

Could not even listen to the whole interview, it is so embarrassing we can't supply the basics for the team to train.
