It examines the effect of capitalismon labor, productivity, and economic development and argues for a worker revolution to overturn capitalism in favor of communism. Marxism posits that the struggle between social classes—specifically between the bourgeoisie, or capitalists, and the proletariat, or workers—defines economic relations in a capitalist economy and will inevitably lead to revolutionary communism.
Where does it mention taking the knee?

Clever chap was Karl, start with taking the knee, next thing, stringing up the royal family.
And in one post how does that description in anyway shape or form have anything to do with a race off people wanting to be treated fairly and not be discriminated against? By taking a knee to try to stop being abused and discriminated against? Marxism absolute rubbish and the comment has been widely used by a section off the population to use who are against a common human right off people off different races being treat equal

It's meaningless but you disagree with it???

And you do have the right to not be part of it - nobody's asking you to take the knee, are they?

It has changed something - it's created a division between racists and everyone else. Job done.
If you are that keen on supporting the knee lets see you do on the terraces, why have Barrow afc not done it at every match ?
The point is that it is now a symbol of advanced thinking regarding racism, sexism and homophobia. Just listen to the announcer at Barrow. The club has moved on, and we all should. Also (if you were there) note that the (majority of) the crowd applauded the players taking the knee. The crowd also applauded the announcer with the same message after the game was stopped during the second half because of the allegedly racist remark. If someone chose not to applaud it, that can’t be racist in itself, but to criticise those that do, at the very least, shows a disrespect, and also a lack of appreciation of how much the world is changing and has changed. The knee is no longer just a mark of disagreement regarding what happened to that poor man in the US; it has taken on a much wider meaning and the message continues to be sent out.

Oh my word! That line alone makes everything you have ever posted on any forum anywhere completely irrelevant and lacking in any credibility.
It's a matter of opinion.
A racist does not have to be white .
It's a forum but maybe you do not respect anyone's opinion but your own
It's not a matter of opinion though is it? It's a matter of fact.

Its not what the thread is about so I'll just post the once more on it.

It took me 20 seconds to find evidence than in 2018 64% of black South Africans were living in poverty as opposed to 1% of white South Africans. I'll accept that 1% seems quite low, but it certainly isn't anywhere near as high as 64% and will still be well in single figures. Other studies suggest that 9 out of 10 South Africans living in poverty are black. Anecdotally, I have visited South Africa too - many towns and many cities and saw evidence of racism against the black population in every one of them and witnessed it first hand in some. I also saw poor people (i.e. the black population) struggling against a system that was designed to keep them in their place and that continues today.

How you visited South Africa and possibly saw anything other than that I have no idea and says a lot about you for me. To suggest that the end of Apartheid and Mandela's rise somehow instantly flipped everything on its head is completely astounding.

I was there and have been to every game home and away and disrespect goes both ways if people think the the knee is not the right way forward or political it is their choice, I prefer the team clapping in the centre circle to show support and am sick with cretins who do not think like them being branded racists. The knee has not changed anything as shown by the abuse our three England players suffered after missing the penalties.

This is absolute madness, there was no racist abuse, the keeper, who looked a wind up merchant with his antics, obviously misheard the zigger chant. It’s ridiculous, nobody else heard it. We are not a racist club and we all know it.
Wondered when someone would start accusing the keeper of making it up. That's always the second stage of denial, after they're accused of mishearing a chant.
But if you look into Georges background he has a bit of a history for this sort of thing. When he was at Carlsile he had a reputation for being a moaner who thought the world owed him a living because he was the tenth choice keeper at Liverpool. A lot of people were very surprised when he got a contract at Colchester after a couple of years of grubbing around after Liverpool finally realised his potential and released him.

Thankfully this thread will clear up any doubts whatsoever that Barrow fans are in anyway racist.

Good job guys x

A history of what? Fabricating allegations of racist abuse of being a bit of a "moaner"? There's a world of difference.

Barrow as a club have had black and mixed race players for many years so I am hoping the Colchester goalkeeper misheard the Barrow supporters chant which goes Zigger Zagger ,Zigger Zagger,Hoy Hoy Hoy.
I think this is what he may have heard and mistaken it for a very despicable word which should never be used.I hope I am right, because Barrow as a club are not racist and hopefully never will be.
