Good crowd, hopefully some of the extras will be back

We get sucked into matching their style of football (very powerful, physical team) which doesn’t suit us at all. Stevens and Gotts barely saw the ball in the first half. We did well to stand up to them and battle through the game though, they have a very direct style of play but it works and it’s hard going to keep defending against. Great finish for the goal, just a shame we don’t have another striker to change the options up front, Zanzala was very quiet once again today. Overall draw a very fair result, we are definitely showing the rest of the league we are where we are on merit rather than any sense it’s a fluke

Agree with this I thought he was excellent.

Orient are a big strong side and it was real battle out there. We possibly shaded the better of the half chances and both keepers pulled off a couple of good saves. In the end a point apiece I think is a fair result. Both teams got a good clap off the pitch in what was an entertaining game.

Ellis won just about every defensive header today. He was brilliant

Absolutely agree with people suggesting Ellis as motm. A rock at the back today. Will have a headache and sore neck tomorrow from the amount of headers he won.
Considering Orient are right in the mix, they play some uninspiring, route one football, relying on physicality and height. We got sucked into playing their game at times. When we got it down and played, they had no answer. Particularly to Brough and Hutton. Just lacking that killer instinct in the box.
Would've taken a point before kick off though. Great to be disappointed with a point against the likes of Bradford and Orient.

We hate Carlisle United, we hate Workington too (and Morecambe), we hate Accrington Stanley but Barrow we love you :scarf:

Most of their forum saying how bad they were not to beat such a poor Barrow side. There’s me thinking I have just watched a good game between two quite different sides both going for the win.

brilliant crowd, we just lack a couple of more physical players and we'd be right up there but can't fault our Workrate, good league 2 game commitment good football chances at either end loved it !

Another one for Ellis MOM. Tough game today against a big Orient team. Would have liked us to play the ball on the ground a lot more, but in the end a draw was probably a fair result. Disappointed with Zanzala today.
We have a good manager and a good squad and there is no reason why we shouldn't be at the top end of this league come the end of the season. From what i've seen so far there isn't much between most sides in this division.

Good game, a point was probably fair result but we did have a couple of chances to win it - Brough hitting the bar for one !
Players to come back is promising to add to squad but we do miss that additional striker although Sea has been good when hes played.
We needed to play along the floor more today and we got into an aerial battle against a big team

I said before the game I’d have been happy with a point but in the end I was slightly disappointed.
Ellis & Gordon were outstanding but Farman made two outstanding saves - which ultimately gained us a point, my MOTM. We were very unlucky to not go two up when Brough hit the crossbar, that would’ve surely wrapped things up.
Zanzalla needs to up his game because he’s been quite poor recently, which is odd as he seemed much better when apparently unfit earlier in the season.
No idea how LO are in the position they are in after that showing though…baffling.

Fantastic attendance, getting over 3,000 locals in was a nice target to pass.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Key moment- maybe he should have squared it but we needed that second as they were getting on top at this point.

They play a tried and tested formula. Strong physical presence and set piece threat

Enjoyed the game, a fair result.
Ellis mom for me - a colossus, never missed a header. Gotts a close second.

We missed olly banks, but hats off to white who worked his socks off in front of the defence.

All over the park they gave 100%. That's all we ask. Well done the team and in Mark Cooper we seem to have the professional manager who's been there and done that..... Impressed.

Agree 100% Ellis was Motm, Zanzala wasnt arsed and needs dropping, the only player that didn't put a shift in.

I agree but he knows he's got no competition ( we really need another striker!) Sea isn't the answer much as I like the lad, The difference between top sides is the workrate unfortunately Zanzala is letting the squad down!
