However yet again no care for fans with lack of catering in fanzone, tell me on a Thursday or Friday if the new partnership with local food people arnt turning up or unavailable.
Didn't eat all day,
Might seem like a trivial thing but plenty arriving in the shitzone today looking for food.
Really? Should have had breakfast then.Had it not occurred to you that club bay have been given short or no notice caterers not coming actually on the day.Wouldn’t have starved food available in the ground. It’s a football club not a cafe .Stop whinging when don’t know facts
I Know the facts thanks.
Was at work all morning looking forward to a nice burger people told me about
Also you can't go into ground and buy food and return to fanzone pre match.

So mind your own business,

Boylie, you have become an embarrassment mate, every post is pure negativity. You were so positive in the non league days, maybe your just not up to being a supporter of a EFL league club, too much for you.

When you vent your frustration and hunger pangs in a public forum casting aspersions on the club accusing them of putting fans last your comments are in the public domain and business of anyone who is a member on it to comment on.I will continue to make it my business thank you.

I can't understand why people turn up to a football match intent on filling their belly? Especially when most kick off at 3pm
As the lady said, have a breakfast or some lunch.

Not everybody arrives dead on 3 though. I arrived early enough for it be within the ‘dinnertime’ window and as the Fanzone’s faceboook site said there’d be catering there EVERY game I assumed there’d be something available and that my £ could go to a business that supports the club.

Never mind, from now on I shall assume there’s nowt available and plan accordingly.

Also assumed food was available so never ate, not fussed on the pies so made do with Asda later. Just poor that it was taken for granted that what they hardly ever had they will never miss. Burgers are good mind,I was lucky enough to get one t’other week.

For the likes of you travelling to games from outside the area you would expect o have some kind of food available, Dave.
Please remember in your comments everyone not all fans live within walking distance of the ground. Some probably set off just after breakfast.
Mattie's fish and chip shop on Ainslie St is a good place if you feel like a change.

Matties is pish these days! The priory in Ulverston near the baths across road from the old Farmhouse is the best I have tasted for some time, pricey but well worth the extra. Has a small car park and a few tables outside when the weather is kind. A small detour if your driving in from Lancashire.

Lack of catering facilities in the fanzone
Scanners not working and large queues forming
Season ticket holders seats been sold to others
Reports on here of suppliers etc not been paid
Organise a large net to stop serious injuries in the fanzone
Guess it's been a really busy Monday for our CEO.

I just can't understand why it seems so difficult to have food available at Holker Street. I've watched Barrow at many non-league grounds in the last few years before we went into the EFL and I've never been to 1 ground where food and drink wasn't available to buy inside the ground.

It's a round trip for me (getting there 1 hr before kick-off and including the game) of nearly 8 hours from Scotland so, yeah, some food would be nice (even though I could bring my own egg sandwiches).
Don't let the old man in.

When I queried on another thread why a promised pizza outlet had failed to make an appearance in fanzone AJ said was due to staff covid issues which are of course unplanned.Despite fact it has never appeared don’t think we should be slagging club off without knowing facts.Perhaps our supporters liaison officer can assist with info re catering if people care to e mail him direct. We May then get explanation from either ceo or new hospitality person if the comes under his remit as to what is going on.
