Smart arse. Strange you chose Exeter. Very strange.

Why is it strange?

Your post mentions setting off just after breakfast. Anybody setting off from anywhere in the NW could set off at lunch time and still arrive in time for the game. Exeter is in Devon. Anyone attending from Exeter (Exeter City are in the same league as us) would have to set off just after breakfast.

Could you please refrain from calling me, or any other member, a 'smart arse'. Manners don't cost anything.
Might be an idea to read the Please Be Respectful post by Stephen Leonard which is at the top of this Forum's page.
I found your original post sarcastic so responded accordingly.
If fans live outside of the area they do not want to arrive at the ground at 2-55pm so set their leaving times bearing in mind traffic hold ups, train delays etc. arriving in good time to enjoy a match day atmosphere and get something to eat whilst swelling the clubs coffers.
I know the Exiles and National Supporters travel from London and thereabouts on the day so your narrow view of our fans all living in the North West is off the mark.

I agree, York St is an excellent one but has restricted opening hours. I only mentioned Matty's cos it is nearer to the ground. I am not on commission for any chip shop. :D

Not really sure how we’ve ended up having a debate about whether Lancaster branch should be made to have his lunch before he travels to the ground when the actual point is if we are advertising food is available, then food should be available. If it’s not going to be on that day then circulate that on social media so people at least have a chance to see it. It’s not (or shouldn’t be!) difficult

York st would be ok if they cooked the chips properly-I cant stand those anaemic looking soft half cooked chips.

Agreed.

That was the reason I stopped going to York Street.
