He’s talking about attracting a player to come to Barrow who is ready to go

Free agents in January haven’t played for 6months so won’t be ready

You aren’t going to get a top class match ready league two forward in January to leave another club and come to you as the other club aren’t going to let them go

So the alternative is a young player who has been getting regular reserve team football so will be fit - who is hungry to get first team minutes to prove himself

As for the people asking where players are the answer is they’re still injured
As said in my Interview when I asked can he call upon any of the players who have been out to change things

How much profit do people think we made from quigley, villa and cup money? We have overheads you know and getting the extra money will help to reduce the losses. No like we made millions from them all. It probably eased wages for a few months

Better this form is happening now than in March / April. I have to believe we have enough quality to improve but do think we need experience and proven quality to come in. The Jan window is crucial.

People on about finances clearly don’t buy the programmes, this was taken from our last home game from the chairman’s notes.

it would just end up a slanging match people are rightly angry now because we here all the rhetoric about league 1 football etc and here we are again, we sign players who are injury prone, let players go without a fight and don't even go close to replacing them yet I listen to those banal interviews and I think I must be in a different world to them!

Is it Devitt whose contract expires at the end of December if not are there any contracts expiring at the end of this year?

If we are bringing a loanee in I hope he gets more game time than Arthur is getting.

Plus agree with others I get totally confused why some players do not get a look in obviously injuries are what they are but the White situation for example has been odd

Cooper, and the board presumably, are pinning our hopes of survival in L2 on finding a current, young, hungry reserve team striker who can bag us 15 goals.............good luck!

Well I think you have just hit the nail on the head there when you say, "we need experience and proven quality to come in". The way I'm reading things, that aint going to happen-unless I've got it wrong.

This. Programme notes or Trust minutes noone is hiding owt!

Massive effort going in to getting the window right and has been going on for a month minimum.

We were better today.

They will be out there but, as MC said on the radio-I "Its getting them to come to Barrow". And then there's the little matter of the wages side of things!.

Regarding the injured lads, I’ve never known players to be injured as much as the last couple of seasons? Not just little injuries we’ve had multiple who’ve been out for months on end, half a season, full seasons in fact.
Sound like an old man but players never used to be out this much.

Definatley sound like a few of them need to man up and start playing.
Or they can just blag it and see out a contract, that's what I think loads like devitt do

Overpaid pampered league one wannabes.

Maybe wrong

You say you want experience @Jonty
How much experience did Tyler Smith have when he signed on loan? He didn’t do too bad did he
