Targets For January

After reading all the above posts it looks like we have no good players, so how can we stay up.

So, this thread like many others digresses from the title and becomes a generalised moan. Has anyone got any legitimate players in mind who they think would bring something extra to the team?

For me personally, if we’re talking about new defenders I’d make an enquiry for Bobby Thomas at Burnley, loan till end of season. I know he started slowly when he was here but finished strongly, grew in to the task and showed his quality and he was immense against FGR.

You can only have player's names if you know who's available, most comments are correct not moaning

It’s not hard too do a bit of research though Nige, we can all clearly use the internet and we have all watched a few games over the recent years. Surely we must have been impressed by many players. Just seems strange that everyone feels we need new players but no one has any suggestions of players that could be “Targets for January”.

I get what you're saying but it's very hard to get players in this window that's why it was imperative we recruited well in the Summer and again we came up short ! we can't go on making the same mistakes over the players we bring in.

Unless miracles occur - starting today hopefully -,I think what happens in January really will make the difference between staying up or returning to.....

Baffles my why we didn’t want to keep him. His hold up play is definitely something that would benefit the current squad

don't forget he was support for Quigs a target man who we don't have now ,funny really we moaned about our midfield now we have one we've now no decent target man, we'll get it right one day

I know MC has his targets and knows what is needed. But this thread is asking us what targets we would like to see.
