Colchester v Barrow match thread

It's how we set up.
The Barnsley game could be the catalyst.
When we were last in the league we were playing Shrewsbury at home we had nothing to gain as we were safe.
Shrewsbury needed to win to get promotion and we beat them .

There seems to be less worry about relegation this season. Was it first year nerves or is it because we have a better squad of players this time round and an experienced and decent manager?

Was hoping the reaction from the Barnsley game would be, quite rightly, a positive one... Two home games now let's capitalise. Worth mentioning how good the commentary was considering Adam was on his own.

Yes listened to alternative programme when it switchs from Radio Cumbria Calvin Andrews on singing the praises of the club.
Adams commentary against Barnsley was raised and how good it was.

Nice to see some positivity I do not think the Irish guy on Quest gives Barrow much credit.

Well he wouldn't be expected to give Barrow any credit would he, given that his dad was got rid of from the shipyard years ago.

The second one; still haven’t seen many teams in this league this season that are actually better than our first choice 11, it’s just been so rare we’ve had them all available. With a bit of luck injury wise till the end of the season I would expect us to finish higher than last season

Thanks I went to could not remember how many we won by.

Sorry but one performance does not define a players level, he needs to do it on a consistent level week in week out, that’s what your genuine L2 players do. He clearly hasn’t done this yet. Granted he was good yesterday but let’s see if he can keep doing it. I fear you may be let down but hope not. Fingers crossed but I think we’ve been here before with Luke James

I'd be delighted with lower mid table obscurity and reaching 50 points before the last few games. Steady progress hopefully building momentum and allowing MC to 'properly' build his own team in the summer.
