James has barely had any minutes to be fair to him. Could well have had as many goals as zanzala/Gordon if he’d have had their game time as they’ve hardly pulled up trees.

James couldn't get in Hartlepools national league team, we never should have re-signed him ,previous to that he came to us because he's not good enough for league 2 ,hardworking yes but Gordon does that, we need goalscorers not hardworking players.

Think sea went off more knackered than injured. Didn’t look like he could run after 15 minutes or so

I can't understand why anybody would think we were in for Carver once Southport wanted a fee. I may be wrong but as far as I know it's a long time since we paid a transfer fee for a player. Farman,Zanzala, Ellis, Gordon, Hutton, Banks, Devitt, White, Grayson, James all free as far as I know. We might have paid a small fee for James Jones and before that, possibly, Quigley.

True. I was forgetting about Matt Platt. He would probably have cost more than James Jones but I doubt if it would have been a huge fee and I very much doubt if we would be in the £20,000 transfer fee for any player. Possibly, could have happened after Quigley was sold but, if not then, I don't see any prospect of it happening now.

Are we still looking for the no nonsense striker who doesn't mind putting his head in where it hurts? Where we ever looking for one?
