Think his main role will be to kidnap Matty Platts loved ones and force Platt to play like a man for them to be released. Recent performances have been gutless. One thing Rooney is not is gutless.

Well somethings obviously changed since he wanted to leave, whether that’s his heads back on or his home situation has changed?? Either way I’m sure he would have been wanted by many National League clubs and some other L2 clubs if his availability had been made common knowledge which it clearly wasn’t, bearing in mind he came in for Stockport yesterday. If he be half the player he was 2 seasons ago then his signing is a massive well done to the board and Cooper. He is after all the type of player we’ve needed all season and if he’d been signed in the summer everyone would have been bouncing with excitement. Let’s wait and see what happens.
