I'd say they have given up this match and are resting players in order to get a fit and healthy team for the match against Tranmere on Saturday which is much more winnable.

In an absolute dog fight at the minute, that’s the last thing we can afford to do ffs. Never in a month of Sundays is this the plan.

The rumour is that Platt has signed a pre contract agreement with a division one side ( Bolton perhaps) he’s been very disappointing this year certainly we’ll rid on this season performances. Cooper is well aware of what’s going on hence the reason for them being dropped.
The main benefit of including Taylor tonight is him giving the team 100% effort, this certainly hasn’t been the case from Barrow’s two centre backs over the last half a dozen games, they have taken their wages under false pretences.

Shouldn’t we rest everyone on Saturday as well then? The Tuesday night game against Hartlepool is actually much more winnable than either of these two fixtures
