Yes, the defence looks a lot stronger.

Taylor still slow and shite
Re: Hartlepool v Barrow match thread
Oh and to top it off 2 teams below us are winning!
Re: Hartlepool v Barrow match thread
Shocking Barrow. Just when you think we may be getting a system that works the same old problems resurface.
Every goal has been from total lack of closing down. Have to say Hartlepool are far more energetic. We’ve been terrible

Defence just backing off all the time. Three onto 1 man and give him plenty of room to shoot It’s a joke.e

Sounds like we've just completely gone to pieces. You can tell how it's going with the amount of clapping you hear.
Popular side since '03.

Utter tosh at the back. Stand off them chaps and let them have a shot at goal. FFS

Defenders were all watching and standing still.
No one was attacking or closing down the ball-carrier, same as Saturday.
Oldham and Scunny both winning.

Obviously apart from the goal everything thing else is rubbish, not one of our players is having a good game, poor defending, poor passing every time we tackle we give a free kick away, they are making us look like a Sunday pub team, by far our worst performance of the season.

Re: Hartlepool v Barrow match thread
I made the mistake of looking at the current standings when we took the lead. 16th. Big mistake.
That was as bad defending as I've seen. There's more goals in this game but we have to get a grip at the back.

Don't let the old man in.

We see it every week, sometimes we get away with it. Other times like tonight we get punished. Its why we are where we are.walneyroad wrote: ↑Tue Feb 08, 2022 8:33 pm Defence just backing off all the time. Three onto 1 man and give him plenty of room to shoot It’s a joke.e
