Matt Platt

What's going on?
Obviously not injured.
If he's off somewhere else just tell us.

Even if he is, just play him.

He is on contract should be playing, same with White playing most games we sign Stevens & Gotts and out of the team not even brought on just sits on the bench, we now have Rooney so again will be sitting on the bench, if Banks gets 2 more bookings(and he will) and misses 3 games, would not be surprised if he still is bench warming, we need Platt & Ellis to play with Canavan at the back, stop messing about and start playing our best team Mr Cooper, we are all frustrated and you pick the team so you must know better be we need to be better also.

Totally agree the whole thing is a joke and sums up the total farce of this season!

I’ve never known us have such an unsettled team in all the years I’ve been supporting the club. I’ve no idea what our best team and formation is. Players come back from injuries and then disappear again. Where’s Platt? Where’s Stevens and Sea?

Fair question to ask about sea, last thing we got told was that he’s turned down an move on loan and is fighting for his place. Can’t be fighting very hard

Cooper has a history of doing this at other clubs; I’ve no idea if it’s true but it seems to be common knowledge Platty is leaving in the summer. Cooper has got to sit him down, look him in the eyes and see if he’s still committed for another 3 months for us. If he says yes you chuck him straight back in, it would be ridiculous if Matt Platt ends up on loan at some non league club whilst we are struggling defensively

We will have recently put our 25 man squad in for rest of season. Doubt sea will be in that.

A lot of clubs have published their squads

Stevens got injured the other week (against Salford, maybe).

Unfortunately it seems that Cooper also has no idea what our best team and formation is either.
Never been right since Carlisle away when he tried a defensive set up
Just say no to VAR :sentoff:

When asked about Platt coming back in Cooper said "oh I dunno about that."

I am not really bothered about Platt. His performances were variable (could say that about several others) and whatever the reasons for him going misisng - either falling out with Cooper, or not wanting to play, or something else - it seems he is unlikely to play again. And regarding the something else, and Cooper's reticence, don't forget that sometimes players have personal issues, loss of confidence or more serious helath issues that should not be discussed in public. All things considered, perhaps it is better to let things be.

You should be bothered because if it`s football related then the fan`s have a right to know (we own 10%) because if and i say if it`s definately football then the facts should be made public .
