Given how well Rooney’s return has gone, it might be worth a cheeky bid for Quigs …I also wonder how Brad Barry and Dior Angus feel about their moves now, as neither seem to feature regularly? And Joel Dixon. Other than Quigs, I am not suggesting we need them back. Paul Farman has been great recently.

Thanks Skipper - spot on. I loved it when Quigs played for us - I have little or no expectation he will return, but he will always be remembered for our promotion season and for scoring many of the goals that kept us up last year. While some on here think we have an obsession with former players, some posters go the other way and want to forget them as soon as they leave. Anyway, a Holloway hat-trick on Saturday would put it right ….
