What's the manger at Dalton United called. Seems to know his stuff. Couldn't be any worse than Cooper

Well, we were the only ones of the bottom 10(?) that hadn't sacked their manager.

Didn't take to him as an individual but I believed he would be the manager to introduce a degree of stability; get us to be a solid, mid-table outfit at least; and would attract the kind of players we've struggled to get. I thought Holker Street would become an absolute bastion and a place other teams would dread visiting. None of that has happened. The season has deteriorated before our eyes.

9 games remaining to salvage 9 points. I hope the Board has someone lined up.
Don't let the old man in.

Has to be a permanent appointment otherwise its exactly same this summer as last summer.
With the board saying who stays and goes, board signing players. Can't happen again.

We need to learn from mistakes and whoever we get needs to stay.

Jason Walker's doing a good job at Holker. They are the verge of promotion!

Bang on there Nige. I first noticed that lack of heart in the warm ups compared to what Carlisle were doing-there just seemed to be nothing there. Now I cant stand that scrawny necked little get of a co-commentator Lumsden but, he was bang on in his analysis of the Barrow team as a whole in being lacking of heart, passion, desire etc. (Cant quite remember his exact words.)

Yeah well, come to that none of us are sure. So its a case of just wait and see.

Funny that Darren Edmonson's name is being mentioned. He was commenting on a Barrow game a couple of weeks ago and he said that Barrow had a lot of good players, but they were being played out of position. He also said that Cooper was leaving the substitutions too late as we witnessed yesterday and also on Tuesday when he should have taken Beadling off.I think that he hadn,t got a clue what his best team was and which position to play a lot of the players in.We have Dimitri Sea who with a little bit if looking after could actually turn out to be quite a good player and has been underused.
I hope that now that he has gone we may see an upturn in the way this team performs and I for one thought initially that Cooper was a good choice by the board, but with all the excuses and the lack of results I now realise it wasn,t.I think they had believed all he told them and he came here on the back of having got Forrest Green promoted.
Probably in hindsight they should have enquired more into why he had been sacked.
I just hope whoever takes over manages to keep the Bluebirds in the EFL as it is the least the supporters deserve.

If we had gone down without getting rid of Cooper there would of been an uproar. Now we at least we will hopefully see a bit of spirit and grit again. If we show that I for one will be happier whatever happens. Plus it may be the first time this season that the Manager gets clapped when walking towards the dugout. Don’t think that ever happened with Cooper
