Yes - the scrote who got his arse handed to him on a plate by two school kids was just an embarrassment. And the lads defending him when the lofc cameraman was getting photographic evidence weren’t much better.

Re: Orient v Barrow match thread
Watched on the ifollow today thought we were okish in the first half very poor second half. I knew we wouldn't get any kind of new manager bounce these kind of things just never go the way of Barrow.
I look at our fixtures and not sure where a win might come from, hopefully we get some odd points. Lets get behind the players for the last 8 games. I'm still convinced we have some decent players.

Brown for Hutton when he's back is the first change and I think Kay needs to play. I'm afraid this time Jason Taylors legs may have actually gone (he was blowing out of his ars3 after half hour.

Re: Orient v Barrow match thread
Sadly, I can't see us winning another match. 6 goals in the last 11 matches should tell you everything.
In fact, I can hardly see us scoring another goal unless Banks hits a piledriver or Rooney pulls something out of the fire.
A more useless pair of strikers than Holloway and Gordon would be difficult to find!
If the new manager saw any of our matches or watched any videos, he must be as clueless as the last one! I'm afraid Jason Taylor's professional career is over and he should concentrate on coaching and to pick him over Tom White on a large pitch like Orient have was utter stupidity. Similarly, Sea did enough in his substitute appearance to be picked ahead of Gordon or Holloway.
I watched the Oldham v Sutton match in midweek and although Sutton cut through the Oldham defence like a knife through butter, Oldham are much more likely to score goals than we are, being far more dangerous in attack.
My only hope of our survival this season is Oldham not picking up enough points to catch us but they lost a lot of players with injuries and suspension after their good run and may be a different team if and when those players return.

Sorry but can't agree. On today's performance you can't knock Holloway or Gordon. Yes we need another striker but put Gordon just in behind Holloway and AN Other and I think you've got a chance. More I'm thinking about it I think it's an either / or with Banks and Rooney

I feel sorry for Wakeling never gets a chance neither does Harris - I realise he may have a knock but seriously what clubs are going to loan out their younger players to us in the future.
Re: Orient v Barrow match thread
Listened to the second half, sounded shite and as if there wasn't any backbone. We deserve to go down, we should be counting our lucky stars that there are two teams with off the field problems below us.
Popular side since '03.

I won't comment on Holloway as I think he can do a job of sorts even if not much of a goal threat. But Gordon, my god! How he gets a game in League 2 I have no idea. People seem to like him because he runs around a lot but he offers zero attacking threat, doesn't create or score and is a pointless footballer.

Things to be positive about:
1. John Sheridan doesn’t deal with defeat well.
2. Oldhams run in is no easier than ours
3. We don’t have to play our relegation rivals - thank God
Er…..that’s it

I could accept the disappointment if we had a small budget - but when we've got a top half one - it's appalling. I feel for the board -

Yes and no ,they have overseen most of the recruitment and have even been involved in bringing a couple of player's in, easy for me to say but when Quigs left we should have left no stone unturned to find a replacement but they decided to sign Zanzala ( Cooper didn't) and look where we are now ,we even had a chance in January but again recruited badly (forward wise !).FanzoneFan wrote: ↑Sat Mar 26, 2022 6:03 pm I could accept the disappointment if we had a small budget - but when we've got a top half one - it's appalling. Playing an in form team and holding òur own until a worldy undone us, saying that we were toothless again and dead lice is dropping off Holloway and needs to get fit before he pulls on a Barrow shirt again, Sea and White need to start against Port Vale.

Re: Orient v Barrow match thread
Thought it was a good positive after match interview. Phil comes over well and has a great outlook on football and Barrow.
Yes you could argue that Farman was to blame for the first goal but as Phil said the goal was Premier League class.
Let's all get down to Holker Street next week and be positive. If you're going to moan as soon as a player makes a mistake please keep your mouth shut or stay away.
We are not the best team and some of the players may not be up to standard but there's nothing anyone can do about that at the moment, as this is our squad until the end of the season.
Phil's saying there will be a behind closed doors game on Tuesday so they can work on some tactics.
Let's all get down to Holker Street next week and give some positive support to help this team stay in the Football League!

I thought there was a marginal increase in the players work-rate first half. We tried to get closer to them and compete. Second half we were miles off it. That centre-midfield is one of the slowest you’ll ever see, they couldn’t get close at all.
