Yet Cooper in his wisdom even signed one up for next season. His legacy will still be haunting us for another year.
Resigned 2 Ian, White and James .
Send them to whitley Bay.
Seem decent lads who try hard but not good enough.

If Banks could add heading to his game he would dominate a lot more players.
Still searching for the Young Soul Rebels

Where’s Jordan Stevens been since about Christmas? He looked decent earlier in the season then just seems to have disappeared bar the odd very brief cameo

Rooney was a panic buy let’s hope it works out.

With 15 players contracted for next season(Including Taylor & Lillis has coaches) and a few the season after if the Board have not got relegation Clauses in contracts then how do we pay them if we go down the budget will come nowhere near to cover them, not just Rooney but to many players put on long contracts.

Thought we were very good until they scored but we had two let offs before that Rooney and Banks were well below par again and dont deserve a shirt at the moment banks feeble attempt to stop the cross for the second said it all for me and where was rooney totally forgot he was playing his hearts not in it time for a midfield shake up the majority of the team otherwise tried there best and thats all we ask for keep fighting........... :scarf:

You get a parachute payment from the EFL for the first season after being relegated to the National League.

Being a lifelong supporter or having a decent career with HOB is not enough experience to run a FL club !
Agree 100%. You need and we should have been paying £60k plus a year for two experienced people working full time for those posts.
We're we not paying our previous CEO that amount?

"brings a sense of calm and knows what he's talking about." Exactly.

From what I saw today the fire has been lit by Brown and I can see this team digging up the few points if needed, that could mean safety.
I really believe we wont go down.

I realise that Al, White is ok and could do a job for us, unfortunately James isn’t up to it at all, not by any stretch of the imagination. I can’t believe some people thought he was good enough to be offered a new contract. Nothing against the lad (same with Holloway - and lots more) but football is a ruthless game, when it’s not this is the sort of thing that happens.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Cooper also gave Brough (quite rightly IMO) a new contract early in the season. https://www.nwemail.co.uk/news/19513950 ... ract-club/
