Well, I'm lost for words. That was fantastic. We're not out of the woods yet, but I feel a lot more optimistic.

On a historical note, that was our biggest win in the EFL since we beat Colchester 5-0 in Division 3 in November 1967.

Have loved Barrow to death for almost 60 years and can also be one of the most pessimistic of fans (particularly as I have got older). Missed game as was visiting family down south. Driving back today told my wife no scores to be announced and listened to the most boring radio 2 music programme ever. When wife announced the score I almost smashed the car into the central reservation of the M6! A happy happy weekend now & I to will be watching EFL of Quest.

Brilliant performance from the players and dropping Banks proved right by the manager, Rooney best game since his return and with Gotts & Beadling bossed the midfield all game, the move for the 2nd goal was brilliant and a great finish, Connor Brown played well just love the way he gets them freekicks for us, great save from Farman at 1-0 and today caught crosses coming in the box instead of punching. In the club interview Brown said Grayston has hamstring injury, lets get something at Salford now, come on you Bluebirds.

I think one of the overriding factors in Banks’ performances must be the 14 yellow cards so he has been holding back / being too careful, and this hasn’t helped his performances either. He knew that 1 more booking would have meant missing 3 games at the wrong time if the season for us. As Phil Brown has found an alternative lineup, I think this will help the team and Ollie Banks moving forward.

Farman catching crosses was indeed an improvement. It's always felt like he could give a goal away and today he looked very solid.

One swallow does not make a Summer and one frog does not make a Spring but today's game was certainly a slight improvement on last weeks game at Crawley. It was absolutely impossible to think of a big enough or more expressive adjective to pay tribute to such a fantastic team display. Neither could l include enough adjectives in one sentence to make any sense of what happened this afternoon at Holker Street sufficient to say that it was bloody marvelous.
