Refers to Williams & White's reactions (in Browns view) that they didn't appear frustrated (annoyed?) at losing their places today to Beadling & Kay. Thought that was fair enough.

Really interesting interview with Brown by Adam. Re defensive errors costing goals, Brown said it was not about errors but about commitment by people who would be nameless. Also refers to players being "too easy to leave out", ie not hurting enough when they lose their place.

Worth a listen on Radio Carlisle post-match listen again. (Interview in the last few mins of the programme after rather a lot of analysis about that other club in L2 )

By publicly naming White and Williams on the Radio and saying he told them both they were "to easy to leave out" is not a good look from a prospective manger IMO. Its one sure way of losing the dressing room with a group of players of whom Brown recently admitted there were one or two "doubting Thomases" after the opening 3 defeats. Brown has done himself no favours in the media this week and board need to think long and hard before appointing him IMO

White is not good enough, should never of got a new deal.

Watched the highlights a few times now Canavan getting the blame for the first by a few, think he was just unlucky.
Second goal Banks getting grief, yes he could of done better but so could one or two more. Excellent finish by Platt for our equaliser.

I'm just a long distance watcher/follower of Barrow and what I think doesn't really matter, however, I hope Brown gets a chance to build his own team. When he came in the fixtures were brutal (we've played 7 of the top 10) and plenty thought we were done for. The 7 from 9 against FGR, Salford and Sutton was huge, and we have to thank Phil for his part in that - would Cooper have got those results? I just sense something about Brown that encourages me to believe he could get us moving up the table. Whatever happens, the last thing we need is another gamble like Dunn or Jolley, or a miserable sh1t like Cooper.

Let's be honest, he's getting the job because we hammered a struggling Forest Green. The points return he's had wouldn't normally see a caretaker manager appointed.
