Impressive first interview, he seems instantly relatable.
I sense the sporting director was influential in his appointment. He seems happy with letting him get on with the agents and contracts side of it, so that’s a good sign as there relationship will be crucial if this new set up is going to work.

Or maybe the incoming gaffer wanted this guy as his Sporting Director, You never know
