Regarding the new seating requirement.
Do these seats not have to be in place before the end of the current season?The reason I am asking the question is because it would make sense to do it whilst the pitch is stripped back to avoid doing it in the future and damaging the pitch.
I would also like to know if this is not done is there a danger we could be kicked out of the EFL?

30th of April in the club's third season in the EFL. If the club cannot meet these requirements, they will not gain full EFL membership and will therefore be relegated.

Which is before or at the end of next season. I wouldn’t have thought that much work could be done during the season though so it needs to be done this close season, surely? Unless it’s a fabricated or temporary stand which can be put into position if the area is flat, which it looks like is happening

As long as the planning applications and paper work are completed before the final game of the season then they can complete it during the summer ahead of next season

I've not seen anything in the regulations permitting this, can you point me in the right direction?

Surely it’s this close season that the work is being done and by the looks of those pictures they have made a start on the perimeter wall to make way for any additional seating at that end. Have yet to see any plans of the work and not sure If temp or permanent structure.

If work is being carried out why is it such a big secret surely the club could inform the supporters what’s going on or planned.

Yes we’ve lost a bit of that recently (since the CEO departed). Many fans don’t get to see what’s going on and are interested in this sort of thing from pitch work improvements through to plans to anything to do with work on improving the ground.
Appreciate all focus has been on securing out league status and appointing the manager, however think most would welcome a positive ground development update.

Something like this would look ace in front of the cross bar, maybe even have doors from hospitality to walk out onto? Probably cost a tonne though/ safety regs and then there’s whether we’d get the crowds to fill it, depending on how well we do next year

Seats going in behind goals at Crossbar end and Holker St corner where the away fans bar is & a scoreboard on the Crossbar as well .

I’d be happy with a nice bit of blue cladding to try and make it look less ominous. But yes an end to end three / four step terrace with a continuous roof line over the tunnel- roof pitched so it can be used for advertising space would improve that end massively. Also I’m all for a rooftop firework display at the end of every win!

That’s very impressive - I’d heard a few mention there was work taking place but didn’t realise it was to this extent.
