Not sure I can take TWO threads on Zanzala.

Apart from his inside leg measurement there's not much about Zanzala that has not been discussed. I actually think that we as a club have done OK by the player. But its been clear almost from day 1 that in terms of the squad in general he has never really looked like a good fit. To be fair to the player, he has never ever had a reputation as the goal-scoring machine that we lacked last season. He does have ability and I think that a lot of the negative stuff on the forum has stemmed probably from a degree of frustration that he has rarely used it when playing for us. In the circumstances swopping a year of a contract for a couple of grand a week (if true) is not actually a bad outcome for us or the player.

I cant imagine that Pete Wild will have had much of a view on Zanzala so my gut tells me that its the player that has finally initiated the break. So be it. Thanks Offrande for your efforts. Time to move on.

Now perhaps we should start discussing Billy Waters inside leg measurement. Although given comments made already about his height perhaps we already have!

it's possible that Zanzala liking that tweet could have helped in the mutual tearing up of the contract - many firms have social media clauses in contracts now and that likely would have broken any clause (IF there was one) as it's a negative post (or in this case "like" ) against his employer.
