Should try to get on the phone to somebody at Everton. They'll be moving out of Goodison Park in the near future, and I doubt all those seats are spoken for. I imagine many would be in decent nick, and would be a cheap and easy way to spruce up the ground or add new seating down the line. Pompey are also doing some work on one of their stands, though I'm not sure if they're getting new seats put in—would be the right colour though.

24/25 season. A bit off yet. Around 10 years ago Everton donated 20 or so Phillips floodlight units from the roof of the Bullens Road stand when the floodlight system at Goodison was upgraded to LED. They were never used at Holker St (The club had intended to salvage our old GEC pylons during the Casson era, until he realised it was at massive cost) and as far as I know these lighting units remain underneath the Main Stand.

Would make good hanging baskets to cheer up the wall on the old west terrace.

They were only ever any use if we had the infrastructure to facilitate them Jonty. As nice a gesture as it was at the time sadly lights are more than just bulbs and casings. We have a pile at work similar if not the same, just white heffalumps as we modernise to LED.

We looked into using them Jonty but we couldn't find any control gear for them to work.
Think there's 1 or 2 left under the stand.
Why don't you grab one, I'm sure Mrs Jonty would love an Everton glass table in the middle of the front room

Let's hope if we are doing something in that corner with regard to seats for away fans and we can get more in, our first home game of the season we should be pushing towards and beyond 4k

I was under the impression that a temporary stand was going in the away end to make do untll next summer (according to paul hornby in the last interview he did) and get the away end upto 750 ish I see Bradfield start selling tickets tomorrow with a full allocated of 640

Thought this was mentioned by the project manager at the qna, can’t remember his name, Fraser maybe, said something along the lines of, it is currently hard getting seats with the demand of the common wealth games.

The club has had an extension from the 30th April to the summer of 23 for the compliance of EFL rules for the stadium. Looks to me the club are waiting until the last minute (next summer) to see what league we will be in. If we go down no need to do anything to the stadium.

Seems daft to be missing out on a load of away fans sales for yet another year but hey ho
