I suggest all those that slated the new training base, have a read of Pete Wild’s blog, and next time you can’t wait to criticise a decision by the club, you might just have a rethink.

Maybe after Coopers scathing rants about the training facilities last year, Wild was 'encouraged' to say how good they were in his blog.

Or more likely it was another case of Cooper making excuses for his own inadequacies, which he tended to do quite a lot!

It’s a absolute none starter having a training ground in barrow. Miles off better where we are now. Couldn’t give a toss if they trained in London

The question wasn't how much the players were paid, it was about the distance from a motorway. Ipswich Town probably qualifies as well.
