Realise Zanzala Newport bound and James going to York - wondered if anyone knew of where the likes of Sea, Mike Jones or for that matter Arthur and Devitt have ended up. Can’t remember us ever releasing a player without a fee and that player going on to better things.

Festus Arthur is still under contract at Hull I think. Devitt is on trial at Carlisle in a bid to prove his fitness.

Hardly!
No goals in the seven appearances for Carlisle that he managed when not injured last half-season. Released at the end of it.
Invited back for pre-season to prove fitness. Missed Carlisle's first friendly due to injury before scoring three against Kendal in a 9-0 win.

he was told when at the end of last season if he proved his fitness in pre-season he'd get a contract - so he wasn't released as such.

Sadly for him injuries will always blight him, a real asset in any side when fit.
