It's only a rumour as he's an ex player I'm sure a lot of clubs would be interested in him.

Rumoured to be off to the Prawns a week or so back.
Some of their fans twitchy because Cole Stockton hasn't signed a contract extension.

Pedro gets a fair bit of stick on here (mostly justified ) but his main point regarding a striker is a valid one, we are now less than a week away from the first game and it’s very worrying as we seem to be in the same position again. Of course we could have somebody lined up - but we were all hoping the same last season and it never happened.
It was a worry two weeks ago when we only had Bennet, Gordon and Waters and everyone recognised we needed another striker, but now we’re six days away from playing Stockport with one lad who had a good season last year in the NL and one who struggled last season in L2.
I’m sure they’re working on it and hopefully we can get someone in, I’ve more faith in PW doing that than I did of Cooper ever solving that problem.

Like Bennett gives 100 % and he scored some vital goals for us.

Like I say I followed Barrow through the bad times and will do again if needs be.

We have had two close shaves and managed to stay up we need to avoid a third.
Luckily last year we had extra revenue from Villa etc.

Wild played with Waters as his main striker at Halifax last season, If we were to bring in a former striker I think Dior Angus would fit more with Wild's style of play than Quigley - not that I think he will come either - but that's more the type of player I think Wild will try and get - could be totally wrong of course...

I'n not suggesting we do - but a hard working quicker pressing type striker seems to be more the type of player Wild likes
