If its justified ok but this is turning into a Kangaroo court, education is the best remedy better for them to apologise to Walsall and their fans.

If the club started going through everyone’s social media accounts most of us would be banned over something

I agree surely if it's not in the ground CAN WE EVEN DO THIS ?,IM all for banning people for things that happen in the ground but inciting hate does that mean away fans who come on twitter and have a go at our club/ supporters will they then ( if identified) be banned from Holker Street?,it's opening a can of worm's, is shouting at the referee/ linesman/lineswoman inciting hate ?

Of course they can they can ban whoever they want.

If you have someone replying the club (and Walsall fans) and taunting them about a dead fan, and if the club can identify by cross referencing their name with their purchase database then why wouldn't they?

Exactly, it looks like the lad who got banned for laughing at the ban, saying it’s only a chant, who’s now deleted his account or got banned on Twitter, has probably never the left the town in his life, but he put things about seeing them in Walsall for a fight between fans, so he’s instigating violence at a game he won’t even go to. Chavs and smart phones are like dog shit in a paper bag, crap always comes out eventually. Anyone with half a brain knows there’s lines you don’t cross in life, and a deceased fan is one of them.

I'm guessing everyone who had a go at last weeks referee is going to be banned for inciting hate.

Very dangerous territory to start to police football tweets that in nature are tribel ...

Not sure at all why some people are being so “understanding” with this. We all know this has been building for a long time now.
It’s simple, it’s a football match…go and support your team and don’t be a [SwearFilter].
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Quite a few police between the two sets of supporters today, but not really needed with such a small turnout from Harrogate!

Another efficient message sent to those who want to stir up trouble. I noticed the comments of at least one social media user yesterday and other comments to Walsall fans. It was stirring up further trouble and at least one comment included homophobic language.

It’s a season long ban, either they get the message and come back next season with a different attitude or they continue and don’t get to watch us playing the best football we’ve played for generations.

Sorry to disagree but they were needed. I was going to Asda after the game and the police had a line of potential trouble makers escorting them in single file in the middle of the road towards the reservoir.
Ducks on a walk-about. I don't know if they had been to the match or were just looking for trouble. 😂

Probably the troublemakers from last week after finishing their banning orders for the day by not going into the ground.

Unlike previous weeks the top of Holker Street seemed open with nowhere near the police presence there was in recent weeks. No road closed - no dog vans etc. as previous weeks.
