Lincoln match commentary
With Carlisle not playing tomorrow, will our match commentary be on Freeview?

Re: Lincoln match commentary
That’s great news Adam can’t get to the game tomorrow so will definitely be tuning in to you and Goody. It really annoys me that the Carlisle matches are always on FM - I realise you can listen to the Barrow games on DAB and medium wave but I’ve only got a FM radio in the van and when I’m working on a Saturday I’m forced to listen to Carlisle games with very few Barrow updates. Would it not be possible to have Barrow on FM say every other week. You do a great job but it must be so annoying when a lot of your intended audience can’t hear you.

Good. Can’t get to game tomorrow but will listen on Freeview.
Like others I don’t have DAB+ and AM is barely audible.

I agree. Barrow has got the worst end of this - as usual. DAB+ which a lot of radios don't have unless they are quite new, and AM which is on the way out, and again a lot of radios don't have now, but as long as Carlisle is covered well, that's all that matters!AugustusCorpa wrote: ↑Mon Aug 22, 2022 7:52 pm Good. Can't make tonight's game, will be on Ifollow or IPTV
Re: Lincoln match commentary
Yet more posts griping about Radio Cumbria and Carlisle getting the best of it, yet when Adam cries out for people to get involved no one does.
Popular side since '03.

Re: Lincoln match commentary
You need to make sure your messages start with the word Cumbria
If you don’t do that then your message doesn’t come through to us
Eg
Cumbria - I think the performance was………
Alternatively- get in touch with me on Adam.johnson@bbc.co.uk
Give me your name and contact number and I can add you to my fans panel list which means we will call you

Including audio on iFollow, I presume? If not, I'm stuffed.
Don't let the old man in.

Re: Lincoln match commentary
The easiest way to leave a comment whilst the game is going on is via WhatsApp.Just put Cumbria at the start of your message and it will go straight to Adam.Don,t forget to put your first name on it at at the end and It will go straight to Adam. The more people that do it the more air time will have to be given to Barrow and if you feel brave enough you can become a fans panellist and Adam will contact you direct .I thing Adam has already explained how to do it.
