EFL will go ahead from Tuesday I believe, the issue with next week's premier league games is due to possible police shortage in London due to state funeral build up

Perhaps there are more footy supporters compared to the other sports, and the pressures on the police at this time must be far more than normal. I would also suggest the other sports mentioned have far fewer issues with police needing to be around. Look at the top of Holker Street after a game with police vans and dogs. Don't think I've ever seen them at Crazy Park.

The wording is misleading. There's an international break after the weekend of the 17th-18th. And no midweek matches between this weekend and next. So if the Premier League matches are cancelled on the weekend of the 17th - which might be for policing reasons - then there's no further games this month, but it's not because they're cancelling a month's worth of matches. There'll be League Two matches this month.

There were no rights or wrongs in the calling off or going ahead of sports events this weekend the EFL and premier ship made their stance and whether or not we agree with their stance isn’t relevant. The call has been made and respectfulness has to be paid to those decisions. We often comment about lack of respect others show to our beloved club so surely we can show the due respect our football league ruling body has called for to the monarch that served our country for over 70 years Royalist or not..

Ayr were told if the funeral was on the Monday then games at the weekend would go ahead, although I suspect the SPFL would just follow whatever the English authorities decided. I think any games being cancelled now would be as a result of Policing resources.

Announced that Rangers vs. Nspoli has been put back 24hrs, to Wednesday "due to the severe limitations on police resources and organisational issues related to the ongoing events surrounding the national mourning for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II".

Could have an effect on the EFL games scheduled for Tuesday, maybe they'll get put back 24hrs too?

World leaders will be flying into London next weekend plus thousands wanting to attend police will have to call up all regions to support, last year I was at Lyme service station when hundreds of police arrive for all different forces heading to G4 summit which I think was in Glasgow.
