0-2, against the run of play again, but as Goody says, we have struggled to break them down.

White for Foley
Re: Barrow v Orient match thread
Too many off the boil today after the first 30 minutes and Orient have nullified our threats. The best team in the league so far have come and done a job on us, nothing more to it than that. They'll be in League One next season.
Popular side since '03.

Kay sent off. Called the ref something according to the linesman on our side.

Re: Barrow v Orient match thread
Going to lose this & im not that bothered really as they have done a professional job on us here & them time wasting from 20 mins shows how our stock has risen within the league & you can’t win them all.
Typically we lose when we enjoy a bumper home crowd, HOpe they liked what they saw & the match day experience & come back again
Bump in the road day today
4371 Home fans ….Very encouraging
Josh card collector collects a Red

Re: Barrow v Orient match thread
After that first 30 mins, when we looked good, Orient showed us why they are top of the league. No shame, but very disappointing in front of a big crowd. Late goals from Stevenage and Salford don’t help our position in the table (although still above Salford)
Re: Barrow v Orient match thread
Why do we always seem to lose it when we get a really good crowd.
Need to get back on our game as Tranmere away and Mansfield at home are difficult fixtures.

What can I say.... just couldn't seem to get out of neutral gear, gotta say horrible football from Leyton but it's winning them games, josh kay letting us down again.... less said about the officials also, need to brush off and go again.

Re: Barrow v Orient match thread
I thought Farman was at fault for the first goal and the second was another scrappy one, Orient did a job on us ,never let us play and I'm afraid we'll see more of this moving forward, not sure if Kay said something or for an alleged stamp !
We made bad decisions in the final third passing instead of shooting and vice versa,
I think we needed a presence up front today they just snuffed Gordon out !

Re: Barrow v Orient match thread
If we put in an away a performance like Orients today against second in the league we would singing the teams praises. Well organised soaked up pressure and clinical with two shots from outside the box. Managed the game well and yes frustrated the home team and the supporters. They aint top for nothing. We played ok without really testing the keeper. Maybe we were all getting carried away after our brilliant start to the season. We are work in progress and this is a bump in the road. Move on work hard in training the week and come back better next week at Tranmere.

Re: Barrow v Orient match thread
Deflated after that. Things looking good for the first third of the match, and we were easily the better side, then something changed. The energy seemed to go from the team and the crowd, and Orient took over and deserved to win in the end. A test for the squad and the manager for the next game.
