What has happened to the base of our attacks and winning the ball back too? The first signs were Northampton when they got around Sam Foley and we couldn't get going. And we are vulnerable to big shithousing too (copyright Mansfield,)

I'm quite relaxed about it all given recent history and league position. But it needs solving. And not by having a pop at fans.

Watched the game on ifollow and it made uncomfortable viewing. But sometimes watching on TV gives you a different persepective as you tend to be watching the "bigger picture". For me Barrow have lost their zip and some players are definitely out of form (or lost confidence). Every time Tranmere put a passage of play together I got nervous we just seemed to be so cumbersome at the back at times. I didn't particularly rate Tranmere at the back either but our forwards just seemed unable to put real pressure on them. I remember just before our goal Gordon got himself totally in the wrong position from a cross with their centre back nowhere and the ball ran harmlessly away. I really thought when they went to 10 men we'd at least get a draw and this type of defeat is most depressing because of that. By the way it was a really bad high challenge on Lillis and I do wonder if we fatally lost concentration after that which led to the goal.

Don't underestimate Rochdale they are getting desperate and I think they will be very direct and physical with you know who up front. We have got to match their physicality we need a win as January's fixtures are challenging to say the least. I think we miss McClelland as he has pace and the middle of our back line at present does not have that. Like others I'd like to see Bennett and Cotts starting. The trouble is with the type of injury Bennett has had you can't be sure he is 100% yet. Wild is the sort of manager who wants to play a certain way but if its not working at the present time then fine tuning and changes are required (in my view but what do I know).

Bit of a ramble from me tonight but I feel so frustrated and a touch worried as their seems to be no end in sight of the present malaise with pretty tough games on the horizon. Yep, I know, I'm being negative and should be happy with the position we are in but we do need wins and the sooner the better. The league table is very congested and our priority is to reach that 50 point mark asap. No stupid give away goals next on Tuesday please so we end up, yet again, chasing a game.

We’re slipping to mid table and hopefully fixtures will run out before we slip further than that. Let’s just get to 50 points asap so we can at least breath easy. We are no where near the play off team we were looking like a few months back.

Why play one up top at home? Gordon was predictably very isolated and with Bennet up there with him we probably would have had more joy. Frustrating that he was brought on when we were chasing the game with 7 mins left but even in that time he created a chance for waters by winning a header in the box.

Another thing is - I thought the game changed when Stevens was brought off. That’s when they started to put the pressure back on us when we couldn’t get out of our own half.

He was playing very well - really direct and raw so unless it was a fitness issue, really not sure why he was taken off

All teams have barron spells snd we ain't no exception!
More wins, points snd goals at this stage now than any of our previous seasons. Should we be higher ? Definitely, we've had penalty claims not given, awful refs esp at home who give us nothing, goals scored not given (Rooney?) We've also played crap and deserved nothing but thats no different to most teams in the league. We have a new manager whos prob best one since Everett and people are wanting him gone ! Personally a top 10 finish would be great and i said this at start of season. We were 4th 3 weeks ago and we could be 4th in 3 weeks time if results go our way. Do we need players in ? Yeah and a few will go out too. I think 3 points and maybe a performance is needed on Monday or the pressure will be on but I'd take a scrappy win also. Then lets see what happens over next few weeks and if we are getting points great - if not then im sure more will join the Wild out bandwagon

Let,s be honest,apart from.Steven's goal we were poor tonight.Our manager seems to have lost the plot when it comes to substitutions.Is it that we as a club at the moment cannot afford to be promoted,so is our manager is under instruction to hold off going for another season,because his substitutions in the last few games have baffled me.If that is the case the directors need to be honest with the supporters.

Another thing I have noticed is that since our players have got settled training facilities their performances have deteriorated.Is it that they are too comfortable.We need players who are hungry to win and that seems to be missing at the moment.I know that we are only little old Barrow,but we as supporters deserve better.

So you are asking whether we are purposely trying to not win games?? No, I don't think this is the case. The more likely scenario is we have been found out by most opposition and are struggling for an identity. And as some have pointed out, I think some of the substitutions, or lack of, haven't been great. We are where we are. let's see what Jan onwards brings.

At least Elliot Newby is coming in on the 1st of Jan. Poor lad will have the weight of Cumbria upon his shoulders.

Another one of Wild's merry men from his time at Halifax. Hopefully he's an improvement on Warren and Waters. Then again, he's 27/28 years old and spent all of his career at National League level. In fairness, he did appear for a massive 46 minutes of football at league 2 level for Stockport back in August. Before, of course, they deemed him surplus to requirements.

Wild seems even more stubborn that Evatt and stuck in his ways, be it the formations he plays or the personnel he insists on sticking with. As many have said, the ball has been going long up to Josh Gordon (in the air) for what seems like forever, yet Wild leaves him up there alone, losing aerial battles and just chasing a solo lost cause. Truly baffling. Wild defiantly claims he will not be coerced towards getting a 6 foot - plus striker and will do it his way, because he knows it works.

Did he really say what is alleged to our fans? I certainly feel they have a right, within reason, to vent their frustrations given the money we pay to support the club. He's under a glaring spotlight, so to call a section of people c*nts and to f*ck off when the club is trying to build relations and encourage more attendees is far from ideal.

Still hoping we can turn this around, given our early glimmer of hope to the season. Buckle in chaps, it's going to be a long 5 years +.
